Directions from Ottawa International Airport

There are two routes from the airport: One take you down the east side of the Rideau River, scenic and will allow you to access the 416 further south, while the second route allows you to access the 416 closer to Ottawa.

From the airport take the first exit off the Airport Parkway to Alert Rd to Uplands Drive. At the intersection of Uplands Drive and Hunt Club Road turn left onto Hunt Club Road and stay in the left lane. For the route down the east side of the Rideau River, turn left onto Highway 19; and follow it until you come to the 416, which is about 15 miles. Go south on the 416. I believe that this route is very scenic since you are able to view the river and many of the beautiful home along the River.

If you choose to take the second choice, proceed on Hunt Club Road and cross the Rideau River and take your first left which will be Price of Wales Drive (Highway 73). Follow Highway 73 south to route 8 or Bankfield Road. There should be a sign directing you to turn right to access the 416. Proceed on Bankfield to the 416. Go south on the 416.

Near the end of the 416, follow the signs to "Bridge to USA." There is a $2.00 toll on the US side of the bridge. The next stop is US Customs and Immigrations. May I suggest that if you are wearing sunglasses remove them when talking with the Inspector. After clearing Customs and Immigrations proceed to the flashing red light. Turn left onto NY State Route 37 (East). From this flashing light go exactly 12 mile or 20 kilometers. Turn right onto Cnty Route 31A/Connie Woods Rd.. On the corner is a large white/grey barn. Proceed south on Cnty Route 31A and take the third right, which will be the Randall Road. You will see a sign for "Harmony Farm Honey." We are the first house on the right.
